My first three-on-a-roll with my husband! 12
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we started seriously dating. A year filled with laughter, late-night talks, and a growing sense of comfort and connection. And this past weekend? It was truly something special. We decided to take a little getaway, a weekend away from the everyday hustle and bustle, just the two of us. We’d been talking about it for months, dreaming of escaping to a cozy cabin nestled in the mountains.
The drive up was scenic, winding through lush forests and past charming little towns. The air was crisp and clean, carrying the scent of pine and damp earth. As we pulled into the cabin, I felt an immediate sense of peace wash over me. It was rustic and charming, with a crackling fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and a porch overlooking a breathtaking view.
The first night was low-key. We cooked a simple dinner together, sharing stories and reminiscing about our favorite memories. We played board games by the fire, laughing until our sides hurt. There was a comfortable silence between us, a quiet understanding that spoke volumes. It wasn’t about grand gestures or elaborate plans; it was about simply being present with each other.
Saturday was filled with outdoor adventures. We hiked to a hidden waterfall, the spray cool on our faces. We spent hours exploring the surrounding trails, discovering hidden viewpoints and enjoying the tranquility of nature. We even tried our hand at fishing, though I’m not sure we were very successful!
But the highlight of the weekend, the moment that truly solidified our connection, was Saturday night. After a delicious dinner, we snuggled up by the fire, sharing a bottle of wine. We talked about everything and nothing, about our hopes and dreams, our fears and insecurities. It felt like we were truly seeing each other, understanding each other on a deeper level.
And then, it happened. A moment of pure, unadulterated bliss. A moment of shared intimacy that I won’t soon forget. It was a feeling of complete contentment, of being utterly and completely loved. It was my first three-on-a-roll with my husband, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. It was a reminder of the incredible bond we share, a bond built on trust, respect, and a whole lot of love. It was a weekend I’ll cherish forever.
